Valley View is a public elementary school founded in 1917. Our unicorn school serves about 150 Transitional Kindergarten through Fifth grade students. This hidden gem is nestled in the Hollywood Hills and draws students from within the neighborhood school boundaries and from all across the city.

At Valley View, we actively cultivate respectful, supportive relationships among students, teachers, and parents. Supportive relationships are the heart of our community. We enable students from diverse backgrounds to bring their personal thoughts, feelings, and experiences into the classroom. Our population is both multicultural and ethnically diverse, and our school ranks above standards in English Language Arts and Mathematics.
